Privacy Policy
Who we are
Devolution LLC ("Devolution", "we", "us") operates devolution.llc. We help businesses reduce manual work, connect their tools, and clean up the systems behind day-to-day operations.
This policy explains what personal data we collect through the website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Data we collect
Contact form. When you send us a message through the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and anything you write in the message. Submissions are sent to and stored on a serverless backend we operate on AWS in the Frankfurt region (eu-central-1).
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-HYT3HPZPEJ) to understand how the site is used. Google collects information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and referral source. We have not enabled advertising features or cross-device tracking.
Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) used for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies and similar technologies
Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to measure site usage. These are analytics-only; we do not use advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
How we use your data
- To respond to inquiries and communicate with you about our services.
- To deliver and manage engagements you enter into with us.
- To understand how the website performs and improve it.
- To meet legal, accounting, and security obligations.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Who we share data with
- Amazon Web Services — hosting and the backend that receives contact form submissions (EU region).
- Google — website analytics.
- Paysera — payment processing, where payments for our services are made through them.
- Professional advisers and authorities — when required by law or to protect our rights.
International data transfers
Analytics data is processed by Google, which may transfer data to servers outside the European Economic Area under standard contractual safeguards. Contact form data stays within the EU.
How long we keep data
- Contact form messages: as long as needed to handle your inquiry, then up to 24 months.
- Analytics data: Google retains event-level data for 14 months; aggregated data longer.
- Server logs: a few days to a few weeks, depending on the host.
- Financial records: as long as applicable law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR and CCPA — you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — encrypted connections, access controls, and restricted access to client data — to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
The site links to external platforms (such as our social profiles and client sites). Those platforms have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the most recent revision.
